Procrastination is a mind game and here's how to win.
I know that I'm talking myself out of doing something I know I should be doing.
The more I think about doing it and don't do it, the harder it seems.
I need to remember: Whatever I'm trying to do probably isn't as difficult as I think it is.
1. Prepare in advance
If I decide I want to go for a run in the morning, I put my shorts, shoes, headphones, and everything I'll need right next to my bed. When I wake up the next morning I don't even have to think.
I've already made the decision that I will be going for a run, and I've already prepared. Now I just get dressed, go outside, and start running within 5 minutes.
My brain doesn't even have the chance to talk me out of it.
