Wheelie came to us at that exact stage: a breakthrough mobility product in its prototype phase, needing a compelling digital presence to validate demand, attract distributors, and spark investor interest.
We created a custom Squarespace landing page designed to function as a high-converting product launch experience rather than a traditional website. Grounded in StoryBrand principles, the messaging positions the user as the heroβsomeone seeking independence, mobility, and confidenceβwhile clearly showing how Wheelie delivers that transformation.
A key differentiator in this project was the visual direction. Instead of following the typical clinical aesthetic seen in mobility brands, we designed a bold, high-end, lifestyle-driven experience inspired by premium cycling and product launch brands. Dark, cinematic visuals combined with motion and layered scrolling created an immersive feel that immediately communicates innovation and quality. This repositioning was critical in shifting perception from βmedical deviceβ to βempowering lifestyle product.β
From a strategy standpoint, the site was built to guide two audiencesβend users and potential distributors or investorsβthrough a clear, intuitive journey. Within seconds, visitors understand what the product is, how it works, and why itβs different. From there, the experience naturally leads into calls-to-action designed to capture early interest and validate market demand, similar to a pre-launch or Kickstarter-style funnel.
We also extended the capabilities of Squarespace 7.1 through custom development. Interactive elements like image hotspots help explain product functionality, while sticky scrolling sections and layered animations create a dynamic storytelling flow that keeps users engaged. These features arenβt just visually impressiveβthey make complex ideas easier to understand and increase time on page.
The result is a polished, conversion-focused website that gives Wheelie the credibility it needs at a critical stage of growth.
