Orinda Aquatics
Squarespace Website Design
Orinda Aquatics is a competitive swim club with more than four decades of history, serving approximately 200 year-round swimmers alongside seasonal programs. The organization is known for developing successful athletes while emphasizing teamwork, character, and community involvement.
The Challenge
Although the club had an abundance of valuable content and a strong reputation, the existing website had become difficult to navigate as new information accumulated over time. Families needed a simpler way to explore programs, access schedules, and understand what sets Orinda Aquatics apart from other swim clubs.
Our Strategy
We designed a streamlined website centered on a high-impact homepage and a simplified five-page structure. Reusable templates, scalable page sections, and intuitive navigation allow the team to manage frequent updates efficiently while presenting a polished, professional experience for prospective families and current members alike.
What We Delivered
The project included a custom homepage, Programs, Parent Hub, About/The OA Way, and Contact pages, along with reusable layouts for testimonials, team members, and program information. We also planned for PDF schedule uploads, Instagram integration, SportsEngine embeds, and future content expansion without increasing site complexity. Every page was designed to balance compelling storytelling with practical usability for parents and athletes.
Building a Digital Legacy That Keeps Pace
Orinda Aquatics demonstrates how thoughtful website strategy can strengthen both recruitment and community engagement. By blending modern Squarespace development, clear information architecture, SEO best practices, and conversion-focused design, we created a website that honors the club's legacy while providing a flexible platform for the next generation of swimmers and their families.
