Taxvanta
Squarespace Website Design
For tax professionals, a website has to do more than list services. It has to establish trust quickly, explain complex expertise in simple language, and help the right prospects understand why they should reach out. That was especially important for Taxvanta, a veteran-owned firm serving military families, veterans, active-duty service members, professionals, and small business owners.
Taxvanta already had valuable expertise and educational content, but its existing website had accumulated too much information. Visitors had to work harder than necessary to understand the firm’s focus, and the site didn’t fully reflect the shift toward proactive, year-round tax planning.
Our goal for the tax planning website design was to simplify without oversimplifying.
We reorganized the site around a clearer client journey, reducing clutter and bringing Taxvanta’s advisory-first approach to the forefront. Instead of trying to speak to every possible tax client, the website focuses on the people Taxvanta is best equipped to serve and makes its military specialization immediately clear.
The messaging follows StoryBrand principles: identify the client’s tax concerns, establish Taxvanta as an experienced guide, explain the path forward, and provide a direct next step. That same strategy guides our approach to website design for accountants and CPAs, where trust and clarity are especially important.
We also streamlined the service structure so prospects can quickly distinguish between strategic tax planning, individual tax services, and business tax solutions. Strong calls to action lead visitors toward scheduling a consultation, while existing tools such as Calendly and the client portal help create a smoother transition from website visitor to client.
Because this project involved migrating an established website, search visibility mattered just as much as visual design. We approached the rebuild with SEO preservation in mind, including site structure, existing content, redirects, analytics, and search performance. It’s the same principle behind our Squarespace SEO strategy: a redesign shouldn’t mean starting your search presence over from scratch.
The result is a cleaner, more strategic Squarespace website that gives Taxvanta room to grow its advisory services while making the experience simpler for the people it most wants to reach. It’s a strong example of how thoughtful tax planning website design can combine positioning, copy, user experience, and SEO into one cohesive system.
The redesigned Squarespace website includes a simplified homepage, focused service content, an About section, educational resources, contact pathways, and access to the existing client portal. We incorporated scheduling and marketing tools while creating space for downloadable resources and lead magnets that can support future list growth. The migration strategy also accounted for existing content and search visibility so the new site could build on Taxvanta’s established digital presence rather than leave it behind.
Taxvanta’s new website shifts the conversation from one-time tax preparation to proactive, ongoing guidance. By combining streamlined design, clearer copy, strategic SEO, and a more intentional customer journey, we created a digital presence that better communicates the firm’s specialty and gives qualified prospects a clear path toward becoming clients.
